2 Phase Digital stepper motor driver JKD2060AC

Overview

The JKD2060AC is a new generation high-performance digital stepper driver based on DSP and PID control algorithm with microstep control technology. The motors driven by DM860A can run with much smaller noise and much less vibration than other drivers in the market. The JKD2060AC possess the feature of lower noise, lower vibration, and lower heating. The JKD2060AC’s voltage is AC20V-80V. It is suitable for all the 2-phase hybrid stepper motor whose current is less than 6.0A. There are 16 kinds of microstep of JKD2060AC. The maximum step number of JKD2060AC is 51200 steps/rev (microstep is 1/256 ). Microstep setting

Users can set the driver Microstep by the SW5-SW8 four switches. The setting of the specific Microstep subdivision, please refer to the instructions of the driver panel figure.


Automatic half
current function

Users can set the driver half flow function by SW4. "OFF" indicates the quiescent current is set to half of the dynamic current, that is to say, 0.5 seconds after the cessation of the pulse, current reduce to about half automatically. "ON" indicates the quiescent current and the dynamic current are the same. User can set SW4 to "OFF", in order to reduce motor and driver heating and improve reliability.

 

Signal interfaces

PUL+ and PUL- are the positive and negative side of control pulse signal; DIR+ and DIR- are the positive and negative side of direction signal; ENA+ and ENA- are the positive and negative side of enable signal.


Motor interfaces

A+ and A- are connected to a phase winding of motor; B+ and B- are connected to another phase winding of motor. If you need to backward, one of the phase windings can be reversed.


Power interfaces

It uses AC power supply. Recommended operating voltage is 20VAC-80VAC, and power consumption should be greater than 350W.

 

Indicator lights

There are two indicator lights. Power indicator is green. When the driver power on, the green light will always be lit. Fault indicator is red, when there is over-voltage or over-current fault, the red light will always be lit; after the driver fault is cleared, if re-power the red light will be off.

 

Installation
instructions

Driver dimensions:150×98×51mm, please refer to dimensions diagram. Please leave 10CM space for heat dissipation. During installation, it should be close to the metal cabinet for heat dissipation.

※Interface port for input signal:

Warning:Input signal must have enough current(generally,TTL,COMS signal can’t driver directly),otherwise,the system can not do reliable work.In the above picturer,“R” is external current limiting resistor.Such us chart 3 is differential connection,and has a nice anti-jamming performance. 

Common-anode connection:connect CP+,CW+,FREE+ respectively,CP connect CP-,CW to CW-.Free to Free-

Common- cathode connection: CP connect CP+,CW to CW+,FREE to FREE+.  connect CP+,CW+,FREE+ repectlively.

※Signal light

CP is pulse signal indication. FLT indicate the error report(flicker in regular frequency mean overcurrent,and in unregular frequency is blower fault ,and RDY is open circuit at this time

External current limiting resistance: siganl current in both the“+”“-”port are must between 8-16mA, the signal amplitude can’t too big,and not too weak.it is necessary to connect current-limiting resistor in external if the signal amplitude are too strength,refer to following table 1:

Model CW1108 microstep driver setting the phase current and micro-step by dial switch,and switch 5 is half-current(ON means Disable,and OFF is Enable),switch 6 is single/double pulse setting(ON means single pulse:CP DIR,OFF is double pulse: forward direction CP,reverse direction CW0).the specific setting refer to table2 and table3.After Mirco-step setting the driver,the stepping angle of motor are the same as full-step angle devided by micro-step.For example:setting microstep to 18,and the driver 0.9°/1.8° two-phase motor,the micro steeping angle is 1.8°/ 18=0.1°

Overview

The OE2060AC is a new generation microstep stepper motor driver which applies original imported chips. Due to the adoption of the advanced bipolar constant-current chopper driver technology, it shows stable operation, provides excellent high torque. Moreover, it significantly reduces the noises and vibration of the operating motor. The OE2060AC has the feature of low-noise, low-vibration and low-heating. The OE2060AC is DC24-80V power supply. It applies to 2-phase hybrid stepper motor under 6.0A current. The OE2060AC has 14 kinds of microsteps. The maximum step number is 51200 steps/rev (microstep is 1/256). The peak operating current ranges 2.0-6.0A., and the output current has 8 stalls. The OE2060AC  has automatic semi-flow, self-test, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current protection functions.
